Four years after the premiere of "Yes, Virginia" as an animated special on CBS, we adapted the story as a musical. Then we gave it away—royalty-free—to any school in the country that wanted to mount a production.
Schools across the country, from Maine to California, staged the show. We even gave 100 schools grants to help pay for their productions.
In the end, Macy's was able to make an enormous impact in their local communities. And hundreds of kids experienced the magic of performing on stage.
